TEMPLATE LIBRARY / LOWER THIRDS

Podcast guest introduction

A compact name-and-role overlay with a calm entrance, a six-second reading window and a transparent background.

What this project is for

Introduce an interview guest without covering the conversation. This landscape overlay puts the guest’s name first, their role below it and the programme name on a separate accent strip. The background is transparent, so the graphic can sit over a talking-head shot in an external editor.

Format1280 × 720 landscape
Duration8 seconds at 30 fps

Editable fieldsText, branding, font, accent, timing, orientation and logo

Make this template your own

  1. Replace Jordan Lee with the speaker’s preferred on-screen name. Confirm spelling directly with the guest.
  2. Use the role field for one relevant credential or affiliation. Keep a long biography in the episode notes.
  3. Replace the programme name and accent color. Add a transparent PNG logo if you have one.
  4. Check the lower-left area of your footage before placing the overlay. Switch to bottom right if that side is clearer.
  5. Export WebM or ProRes, then place it above the interview footage in a compatible editor.

Before you export

The example holds for eight seconds in total, including entrance and exit. Set the duration to match the introduction in your edit.

Keep existing captions clear of the nameplate. The layout does not inspect your footage or move itself away from a face.

The download contains an editable MographAI project, not an After Effects or Premiere template. No footage or audio is included.
